Requirements

Valid Alberta ECE Level 3 Certification (required)
Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Current Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Plan and implement an emergent curriculum based on children’s interests
Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being
Foster development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains
Conduct attendance tracking and health & safety checks
Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Early Interventionists) as required
Support children through daily transitions within the classroom
Actively participate in team meetings and professional development workshops
