About The Position
Are you passionate about working with school-age children and supporting their growth and development? Join one of Canada’s fastest-growing childcare providers! We are hiring a School Age ECE (Level 1, 2, or 3) for a contract position starting ASAP and ending June 2027. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
Requirements
- ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification (Nova Scotia)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Abuse Registry
- Current First Aid & CPR (Level B or C)
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with school-age children is an asset
Responsibilities
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum tailored to children’s needs
- Support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development
- Maintain daily documentation and attendance records
- Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance
- Collaborate with team members and specialists as needed
