In this role, you will work collaboratively within a team to support inclusive, play-based learning experiences and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality early learning program. Guided by How Does Learning Happen?, Ontario’s pedagogy for the early years, you will help create a supportive environment that promotes the well-being, belonging, engagement, and expression of every child and family. You will assist Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) in implementing play-based programming, supporting children’s self-regulation, and fostering positive relationships with families and community partners. A key part of your role will be to uphold and integrate the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into daily practices, ensuring that all children and families feel respected, represented, and valued. Your responsibilities also include contributing to pedagogical documentation, maintaining compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), and supporting a safe, inclusive, and responsive classroom environment.
