Early Childhood Educator - Assistant/Trainee
About The Position
This is an entry-level childcare assistant opportunity where you can kick-start your early childhood education career. You will be nurtured and supported as you join the dedicated team working within a beautiful, Montessori childcare environment. The role involves working up to 38 hours per week, with shifts rostered between 6:45 am and 6:00 pm. No prior Montessori experience is required, as all Educators will be supported to complete Montessori qualifications through the affiliated training college, MECTA. Funding may be available for eligible trainees, potentially covering course fees.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment/achievement in schooling, community, sport/hobbies.
- Willingness to enrol in and complete ECEC AND Montessori Early Childhood Education qualifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
- Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC).
- Must not be a restricted person.
Nice To Haves
- Montessori experience is not required, but willingness to complete qualifications is.
Responsibilities
- Work within a Montessori childcare environment.
- Complete Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
