Located in Forest Grove, Oregon and founded in 2002, Adelante Mujeres is known for innovative responses to community concerns. The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Site Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of daily operations for multiple assigned Adelante Mujeres early learning program sites serving infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and families. The Site Coordinator ensures the delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate, culturally sustaining, and inclusive early childhood education services in compliance with Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), Child Care Licensing Division (CCLD), Preschool Promise, Head Start Performance Standards, SPARK, and Adelante Mujeres policies and procedures. The Site Coordinator supervises and supports teaching staff, coordinates multiple site operations, monitors compliance and program quality, and fosters strong relationships with children, families, community partners, and staff. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, nurturing, bilingual learning environments that promote school readiness, family engagement, and equitable access to high-quality early learning opportunities. The ECE site Coordinator is part of a leadership team that works in unison to provide high-quality services to our community.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to the mission of the organization, environmental sustainability, employee well-being, and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people, including excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or similar related field OR step 9 or higher in ORO
  • Experience working with diverse families and government funded programs
  • 2+ years of experience working with children 0-5 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within early childhood education
  • Experience preparing and delivering professional development training
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and possess a strong aptitude for quickly learning and adapting to new software tools as needed for the role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and flexible environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. u nassisted
  • Ability to travel between worksite s on a regular basis
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Possess CBR under Office of Childcare
  • Complete Criminal Background Registry
  • Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Current food handler certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Mandated Reporter status.

Responsibilities

  • Address day-to-day operational issues including classroom coverage, scheduling needs, site logistics , and emergency situations.
  • Assist in coordinating special events , family engagement activities, field trips, and program-wide initiatives.
  • Complete reports, documentation, data tracking, and communications accurately and within established timelines.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor teaching staff, aides, and substitutes.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and monitoring visits to assess program quality, classroom environments, supervision, curriculum implementation, health and safety practices, and staff performance.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings, classroom meetings, and professional learning opportunities.
