About The Position

The Early Childhood Coordinator/Daycare Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing educational programs for young children. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
  • Certification in Early Childhood / Birth – 2nd
  • Experience in early childhood teaching and program coordination
  • Knowledge of curriculum planning and child assessment methods
  • Organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with state childcare licensing standards

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement early childhood education programs and curriculum.
  • Ensure programs align with educational standards and developmental goals.
  • Supervise and support teachers and childcare staff.
  • Conduct classroom observations and program evaluations.
  • Organize staff development and training sessions.
  • Monitor child development and assessment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, community organizations, and school administrators.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with enrollment, program planning, and budgeting.
  • Promote inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
  • Manage all aspects of building maintenance, safety, repairs and security.
  • Supervise the ordering and inventory of program supplies.
  • Prepare and lead staff and curriculum meetings.
  • Attend committee meetings and agency events which may occur on weekends and/or evenings.
  • Assist in planning Center and School wide events.
  • Attend program staff meetings, in-service training and on and offsite professional development workshops, as determined by Early Childhood Director.
  • Keep Director informed of all extra ordinary incidents relating to accidents, concerns about child’s welfare or circumstances.
  • Appropriately represent the center in all forums.
