About The Position
Soccer Stars is seeking enthusiastic educators and childcare professionals passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. The organization provides engaging soccer classes, camps, and clinics for children aged 12 months to 13 years in various locations. The role focuses on developing children's confidence, teamwork, listening skills, social development, and a love for physical activity, extending beyond just soccer to include multisport and martial arts programs. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in teaching or childcare who enjoy an active, outdoor work environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to local schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
- Ability to successfully complete a background check

Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared and on time for every class
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Build confidence through positive reinforcement and individualized instruction
- Help children develop teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
- Participate in ongoing training while following the Soccer Stars Coaching Curriculum
