About The Position

As the Center Director, you will be the driving force behind our facility, ensuring our children receive exceptional care and education while steering the day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will span from guiding curriculum and leading our staff to managing the facility, maintaining strict legal compliance, and planning for the center's future. In this role, you will harmonize the developmental needs of our students with the strategic objectives of the center, fostering an environment where both children and educators thrive.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in an early childhood environment, supported by a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a closely related discipline), featuring a minimum of 30 ECE credits.
  • Demonstrated expertise in finance, budgeting, organization, and team leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, high energy, and solid technological proficiency.
  • A track record of building positive relationships and cultivating a unified, team-oriented workplace.
  • A comprehensive understanding of child development principles.
  • Valid Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must successfully complete a health screening and full background check.

Responsibilities

  • Establish an inspiring vision for the center, guaranteeing we consistently surpass quality benchmarks and adhere to all state and local regulations.
  • Partner with educators to design dynamic, impactful learning programs that align with state mandates and educational best practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance of pristine, up-to-date student files and manage all enrollment processes efficiently.
  • Cultivate robust connections with families through consistent outreach, newsletters, and handbooks, while actively engaging with the broader community.
  • Review and approve nutritional meal plans and food acquisitions to support the health of our students.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless legal, safety, and financial compliance at all times.
  • Direct all administrative duties, encompassing payroll, AP/AR, tuition processing, HR, and team management.
  • Handle disputes and concerns promptly and equitably, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for staff and families alike.
  • Create and monitor budgets, balancing our financial targets with the necessity of providing top-tier care and education.
  • Design and enforce comprehensive health, illness, and emergency response procedures, ensuring the entire staff is fully trained.
  • Put strategic initiatives into action to support and advance the program's core mission.
  • Actively engage in professional development to remain current on early childhood trends and elevate our programming.
