Early Childhood Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. This is a mission-driven, clinician-led company focused on ethical care and meaningful outcomes. The role involves working 1:1 with children in their homes, using creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills. Technicians will collect progress data, collaborate with supervising BCBAs, and support families through consistent communication. The role operates exclusively in the client's home environment.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Marion area.
- Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (company will help with study and cost).
- Must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned Crestline, OH territory.
- This position requires a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
