Requirements

• Responsible Adult (RA), ECEA, or ECE certification/qualification
• Valid Criminal Record Check
• Current Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Certification
• Up-to-date immunizations
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and enthusiasm
• Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication
• Commitment to providing exceptional care and support for children

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate summer activities, games, and outdoor experiences
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain attendance records and complete required documentation
• Conduct health and safety checks and follow licensing requirements
• Assist children with daily routines, transitions, and group activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Support the implementation of engaging, child-led learning experiences inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture
