About The Position

Early Learning Academies (ELA) is seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join their team at Excel Early Learning Leland as an Assistant Teacher. This role is for individuals who see teaching young children as more than a job and are looking to grow their careers while making a difference in the lives of children and families. The position involves working with children in an infant and toddler classroom setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• 2 years of experience in a licensed center
• Hands-on experience in an infant and toddler classroom
• Experience teaching young children
• A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
• Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements

Nice To Haves

• EDU 119 and additional ECE courses completed
• EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
