About The Position
MARJCC Early Childhood Academy is a warm, growing school community grounded in play-based learning, child-centered education, Jewish values, and relationship-based teaching. We are seeking assistant teachers who want to build meaningful relationships with children while growing professionally in the field of early childhood education. Assistant teachers work closely with lead teachers to help create nurturing, engaging, and organized classroom environments where young children can learn through exploration, play, and connection.
Requirements
- Childcare experience
- Camp counseling
- Babysitting or nannying
- Aftercare or youth programming
- Early childhood coursework
- Experience working with young children in any setting
- Hold Florida DCF 45-Hour Training Certification OR Be willing to complete the DCF 45-hour training within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities and daily routines
- Assist with supervision, transitions, meals, and outdoor play
- Help prepare classroom materials and learning environments
