About The Position

Healthy Minds NYC is a clinician-led outpatient psychiatry practice focused on providing culturally competent and accessible mental health care. They are seeking 4th-year psychiatry residents and fellows to start part-time, with the potential to transition to a full-time attending role. This position offers a flexible transition from training to independent practice, with protected time, mentorship, and a growth path towards a full-time position. The role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication management, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and growing a caseload at a manageable pace. The practice values clinician input and supports professional growth.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completed residency training in Psychiatry.
Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility for certification.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate approach to patient care and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in psychiatry.

Nice To Haves

Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.
Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus.
