WSP is currently initiating a search for an Early Career Mechanical Engineer for our Tulsa, OK office. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Tulsa Line Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance with tasks which may include research, design, and concept development of all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions. Generate accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned aspects of the project. Ensure that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. In the field of Transmission Line Design, our engineers take responsibility for the long-term health of high voltage transmission lines by accounting for appropriate structure load development, hardware selection, and necessary operating clearances under a range of weather conditions. Our teams utilize PLS CADD Modeling software and aerial imagery to create a full representation of line routes while interacting directly with key stakeholders at utilities and their construction partners.
