About The Position

Invesco is seeking driven students for its 9-week Global Strategies Summer Internship Program, kicking off in June 2027. This program offers hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of investments, mentorship from industry professionals, and opportunities to build lasting connections. Interns will gain insights into working at a global investment firm, participate in various engagement initiatives like orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. Successful interns may be eligible for a full-time offer in Invesco's Early Career Program after graduation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related field
  • A demonstrated interest in investments
  • Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
  • Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior internship in investment management is preferred but not required
  • Experience gathering and interpreting market data
  • Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
  • Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
  • Support the team in researching industry trends, financial statements, and market data
  • Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop technical and professional skills
  • Join regular team meetings to understand the top-down macro investment process and performance metrics
