About The Position

This is a 9-week Summer Internship Program starting in June 2027, designed for driven students to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of investments at a global investment firm. Interns will receive one-on-one mentorship and learn about the business by working alongside talented teams. The program includes various initiatives such as orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. Successful completion of the internship may lead to eligibility for a full-time offer in the Early Career Program after graduation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related field
  • A demonstrated interest in investments
  • Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior internship in AI or investment management is preferred but not required
  • Experience gathering and interpreting market data
  • Experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Studio and CoWork
  • Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
  • Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
  • Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop your technical and professional skills
  • Champion AI‑enabled ways of working and use AI technologies in your daily work
  • Leverage existing AI platforms and resources to help streamline manual processes, enhance analysis, and support team execution.
  • Communicate best‑practice sharing to help teams and leaders effectively incorporate AI into their work.
