About The Position

This 9-week Summer Internship Program offers an opportunity to work within Invesco's Corporate Functions Data Office, supporting initiatives that improve how data is governed, understood, and used across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk. Interns will participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. They will work alongside talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives that support data governance, data quality, reporting, and process improvement across Corporate Functions. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy analyzing data, improving processes, and turning information into clear insights, offering a chance to apply these skills in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Strong performance may lead to eligibility for a full-time offer to join Invesco's Early Career Program after graduation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating by summer of 2028.
  • All majors welcome, with an emphasis on Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, data governance, or process improvement.
  • Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Invesco does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

Responsibilities

  • Support data governance initiatives across Corporate Functions, including maintaining inventories of critical data elements, data owners, data stewards, and key business processes.
  • Support preparation of materials for data governance meetings, working groups, and stakeholder updates.
  • Assist with data quality and metadata activities, including analyzing datasets for issues and documenting data definitions, business rules, lineage, and usage.
  • Support data quality issue tracking by organizing findings, actions, owners, and status updates.
  • Contribute to reporting, dashboards, and process improvement by creating or updating dashboards and reports, mapping current-state processes, and identifying simplification opportunities.
  • Assist with preparing executive-ready summaries, presentations, and visual materials.
  • Support cross-functional projects and research, including researching leading practices in data governance and data management.
  • Partner with team members across Corporate Functions to gather information, validate documentation, and support project deliverables.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects related to data governance, data quality, master data, controls, or transformation initiatives.
