About The Position

The Early Career Analyst role is part of a 12-month development program designed for recent graduates seeking a career in insurance. The program focuses on the Natural Resources sector, a globally significant area of the insurance market. Analysts will work with organizations addressing challenges and opportunities in energy security, infrastructure resilience, climate adaptation, and the transition to cleaner energy sources. This role offers exposure to a wide range of businesses, risks, and projects that shape the global energy landscape. Requirements

  • Recent graduates or students graduating soon from any degree discipline.
  • Excited to learn, curious about business, and interested in understanding how organizations manage risk and navigate complex challenges.
  • On track to achieve, or have achieved, a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new concepts and skills.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with others.
  • Motivated to take ownership of your work and contribute to team success.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous insurance experience or technical knowledge is not required, as training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience supporting brokers with the placement and renewal of insurance programs for clients across the Natural Resources sector.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals to review quotes, analyze coverage options, and help develop recommendations for clients.
  • Build an understanding of the risks, challenges, and opportunities facing organizations across oil and gas, utilities, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
  • Develop technical knowledge of insurance products, market dynamics, and broking practices through real client work and structured learning.
  • Collaborate with broking, placement, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions and service to clients.
  • Learn to navigate industry systems and processes while maintaining accurate client and policy information.
  • Participate in training, networking, and development opportunities designed to build commercial, technical, and professional skills.
