Adventist HealthCare's Support Center is seeking an experienced EAP Counselor II for its Lifework Strategies department. This role involves managing a network of child/elder/dependent care resources and providing a range of clinical services to EAP participants. The EAP Counselor II will perform clinical case reviews, risk assessments, and make referrals to appropriate clinical and community resources, including assessing substance abuse concerns. The position requires providing crisis intervention, clinical case management, and follow-up services. Counseling will utilize models such as Solutions Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, delivered both telephonically and face-to-face as schedules permit. Additionally, the counselor will consult with managers and HR professionals on work-related concerns, coordinate Critical Incident Response (CIR) events, and educate individuals about EAP services and mental/emotional health topics at various events.
