Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Bachelor of Education).
  • Experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Strong understanding of EAL pedagogy and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and international environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality English as an Additional Language (EAL) instruction to students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of EAL learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning.
  • Contribute to the development of EAL programs and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
