About The Position

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of prior experience working with young children in a New York State Office of Children and Family Services (NYSOCFS) licensed program. The ideal candidate will understand and respect children's developmental needs and interests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years prior experience working with young children in a New York State Office of Children and Family Serviced ( NYSOCFS ) licensed program.
• Understands and respects children and their developmental needs and interests.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education component/specialization preferred.
• Pursuit of a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• Experience working in a National Association for the Education of the Young Children ( NAEYC ) Accredited childcare center a plus.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the NAEC Accreditation Standards, NAEYC Accreditation process and Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum.
• Work experience with infants and toddlers.
