E-Scooter Delivery Driver - Queens
About The Position
Veo is a leading shared micromobility provider in North America, aiming to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible. They design, manufacture, and operate their vehicles and systems in-house, ensuring safe and reliable service. Veo is seeking operations professionals passionate about rider experience, vehicle maintenance, and fleet operations efficiency. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers will be responsible for locating, swapping batteries, and rebalancing vehicles throughout the city, as well as performing quality checks and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and staying active during their shift.
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Have a smartphone and be App-savvy
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs scooters without assistance
- Good communication and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the local geography and street layout
- Flexible schedule including early morning, night, and weekend shifts
- Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, etc.
Responsibilities
- Follow the mobile App instruction to complete shift tasks
- Drive a company’s van to find scooters and swap battery
- Rebalance scooters from low demand to high demand areas
- Perform basic repair and quality check
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate/retrieve scooters
- Other duties as assigned
