About The Position
Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate vehicles, swap batteries, rebalance scooters throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout the entire shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Comfortable driving a company van
- Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile apps
- Ability to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the local geography and street layout
- Familiarity with the Charlottesville area and surrounding streets
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar environments
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions in the mobile app to complete shift tasks
- Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters
- Complete other duties as assigned
