The E&I Maintenance Technician, reporting to the E&I Lead and the Maintenance Supervisor, will provide service to inspect and calibrate process instrumentation, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and support repairs and replacement of equipment. This role involves carrying out routine preventative maintenance calibrations and inspections to ensure minimal disruption to the production process. The technician will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the site, and install process instrumentation with minimal supervision. They will also provide feedback from assigned work, complete equipment history files, and document technical issues. Communication with process operators and production shift supervisors regarding equipment status is essential. The role requires maintaining a clean work area consistent with the company’s cGMP Policy and proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Effective teamwork, promotion of process efficiency, and communication of safety and procedural issues are expected. Punctuality, good attendance, and adaptability to various assignments are also key.
