About The Position

Serves as the lead representative for the company at a construction site, directing and coordinating the activities of the Electrical group. Provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, material, and equipment and ensuring that specifications are being followed.

Requirements

5 years of experience supervising Heavy Industrial Electrical projects involving a variety of layout, installation, and construction and maintenance tasks.
Must hold a current Journeyman or Master Electrical License.
Oil & Gas and Power experience required.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Possess valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Renewable experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Overall accountability for job site safety and quality assurance/quality control procedures.
Look ahead to avoid conflicts in timing between crafts.
Deal effectively with employees and various levels of customer representatives to resolve scheduling problems, determine work priorities, and assess project requirements as they impact project scheduling.
Define and monitor expected results from each subordinate to ensure achievement relative to work output, quality of work, accidents (both to employees and to equipment), and training.
Monitor daily work progress, and evaluate and counsel subordinates.
Keep current procedures, policies, and methods in use each day.
Respond to time pressure exerted in an emergency situation.
Conduct performance appraisals and recommend wage adjustments.
Discipline employees, including termination when warranted (after discussion with Management).
Work in operating facilities and observe and abide by additional safety policies and procedures.
