About The Position

To assist in the overall operation of the Retail Operations E-Commerce Department. Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is one of the largest employers in the region; with the mission to empower those with disadvantages and disabilities to improve their quality of life. We employ over 600 associates just in our retail stores alone. GESMV also offers over 40 programs and services to the community ranging from job readiness programs to assistive technology services. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • At least 2 years’ experience within an E-Commerce position and five years supervisory experience.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the rules and regulations involved selling goods in an online marketplace.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to GESMV’s liability insurance provider.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass random drug screenings.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office and other web applications.
  • Must have top notch research capabilities.
  • Must be self-motivated and able recognize and analyze current trends in the global online marketplace and develop improved processes.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work both rapidly and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and figure simple math computations.

Responsibilities

  • Key holder; opens and closes the operation at scheduled times.
  • Coordinates with Transportation as required ensuring delivery or pickup of donated and processed materials.
  • Ensures quality customer service and listing quality by diligently monitoring online customer feedback rankings.
  • Model excellent customer service both internally and externally.
  • Communicates all related reports with Retail Stores.
  • Prepares and maintains all necessary reports for E-Commerce Department.
  • Effectively utilize email and telephone to ensure store communications are read and responded to in an appropriate timeframe.
  • Maintains cleanliness in storage and production areas; ensures safety in all areas.
  • Maintains positive, team atmosphere and relationship with peers, subordinates, and other departments.
  • Directs, supervises, and coordinates staff activities to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
  • Provides training and development to all staff members and encourages an environment of learning and growth.
  • Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Direct supervision of employees and volunteers in absence of E-Commerce Manager.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; opening and closing of store; daily manager on duty tasks in the absence of the E-Commerce Manager.
