This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all e-commerce areas to ensure listing and shipment goals are met and issues are communicated and resolved in a timely manner. The role involves managing and delivering the highest level of customer service, inspecting listings for accuracy, appraising and pricing inventory, and ensuring e-commerce personnel follow loss prevention policies. The E-Commerce Manager also works with store managers to ensure an adequate supply of merchandise for e-commerce sales, trains staff, and recommends improvements for processing inventory. They maintain supply inventory, ensure equipment is in working order, and supervise staff by preparing work schedules and assigning duties. The role oversees the quality of goods, trains and evaluates e-commerce staff, prepares payroll, and manages the e-commerce budget for revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Administrative duties, including submitting paperwork and reports, are also required. The manager maintains current knowledge of retail and online sales trends, hosts staff meetings, and collects data on online media sales. They must meet and exceed industry standards for customer service, prepare reports for Senior Management, and ensure housekeeping, safety, and security are maintained. The position assists in creating policies and procedures, contributes to the organization's effectiveness as a management team member, ensures HIPAA compliance, and is responsible for the safety of persons served and staff. CARF compliance and maintaining standards are also key responsibilities, along with implementing CARF standards and following professional ethics.
