About The Position

E-Commerce Management Specialists work closely with the gearUP sales team and other cross functional departments to produce and support customer-facing webstores for youth sports teams and business clients. This role functions in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. Team members are very detail oriented and focused on producing accurate product representation and detail to the end user. Team members work with and manage multiple inbound requests and competing deadlines. This role will be cross trained in collateral areas of responsibility for the support of Production and Customer Success teams and overall company success.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret order requests and other written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective and efficient workflow between teams.
  • Efficient experience working in and knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Magento, OpenCart, Shopify, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools, Outlook, Excel, and Teams or another collaborative communication platform (Slack).
  • Experience with Project Management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, Jira, or Trello
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • ‘Can Do’ attitude and willingness to take on new tasks as requested.
  • Energetic and motivated.
  • Self-Starter – able to work remotely without distractions
  • Prior experience creating and working with eCommerce shopping cart construction and maintenance.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous involvement in athletic programs a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process and confirm webstore site requests and inquiries from the Sales team
  • Assist Sales Reps with creating and updating webstore sites
  • Perform quality checks on new and existing webstore sites as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of product model approvals against design elements provided by the art team.
  • Troubleshoot and communicate with the technology team to improve store build speed and overall user experience internally and externally
  • Ensure that design requests and webstore components meet company standards.
  • Other e-commerce platform support tasks assigned by management
