About The Position

Hope Services is seeking candidates who share their inspirations and aspirations to join their team. They are a leading provider of services to people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs in Silicon Valley. The E-commerce Associate will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Hope Thrift e-commerce business, which includes order processing, internet research, and assisting with donation acceptance. The role requires maintaining a safe, clutter-free work environment and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or GED, one-year related work experience or an approved combination of training, work experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic familiarity with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate professionally in both written and oral forms; ability to observe, evaluate, document and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities with proper use of common sense.
• Ability to relate in a positive, constructive manner with clients, HOPE staff, community and business members.
• Ability to work independently, including managing time, prioritizing, completing assignments and following up.
• Ability to facilitate systems and checks to assure delivery of quality service and product to internal and external customers.
• Willingness to work with people with disabilities; must be patient and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing of all incoming and outgoing product to meet operational needs.
• Enlist items on various platforms.
• Assist with shipping/receiving.
• Follow safety and regulatory compliance, adherence to agency mission and values.
• Maintains a neat location and assures security of all materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned to assure efficiency of operation.
