About The Position

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, an accredited institution, is seeking an E-Commerce Associate to join its retail department. This role is responsible for the fulfillment and customer service aspects of the Museum Store and Hatch Show Print online stores. The museum is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to documenting and interpreting the history of country music, with a significant physical presence and a commitment to cultural preservation and education. The retail department plays a vital role in generating operating revenue through its physical stores, online presence, wholesale activities, and product development.

Requirements

  • High School graduate
  • Previous retail or e-commerce experience
  • Weekend and evening availability
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and some holidays
  • Standing required for almost entire work shift
  • Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

  • Pull, pack, and ship all incoming e-commerce orders using Shopify and ShipStation software.
  • Follow departmental protocols regarding inventory storage and movement between store locations.
  • Alert management if items are being oversold or are showing incorrect stock levels.
  • Package and ship in-store order shipments in a timely manner and provide tracking information.
  • Coordinate with other retail staff sharing work and stockroom spaces.
  • Uphold a superior level of customer service when assisting with online customers.
  • Establish a working relationship with all fellow store staff to support company initiatives and objectives.
  • Bring positive recognition to CMHOF’s brand through professionalism, an enthusiastic attitude, and effective communication.
  • Represent CMHOF’s core values, emphasizing a positive work environment that is fun and unique.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by management without hesitation.
