About The Position

M.M. LaFleur is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized E-Commerce Associate to support day-to-day operations across our online store. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, stays focused on getting tasks done right and on time, and is genuinely curious about how AI tools can make e-commerce work smarter and faster. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with 3 in-office days at our NYC headquarters.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital operations, or a related field
Hands-on experience with Shopify (Shopify Plus a plus)
Exceptional attention to detail — you catch what others miss
Strong task management skills; you keep multiple workstreams organized and moving
Comfort with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, AI-assisted workflows) to improve efficiency
A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in-office on a hybrid basis in NYC

Nice To Haves

Experience in fashion, apparel, or DTC retail
Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Google Analytics, or similar e-commerce platforms

Responsibilities

Support daily site operations, merchandising updates, and content maintenance across the Shopify platform
Execute product uploads, pricing updates, and inventory changes with a high degree of accuracy
Assist with QA across the site, catching errors before they reach customers
Manage recurring tasks tied to promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns
Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, creative) to ensure e-commerce initiatives are executed on time
Identify opportunities to use AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve reporting, or speed up workflows
Monitor site performance and flag issues or inconsistencies proactively
Assist with coordinating and executing product photoshoots, including prepping samples, tracking shot lists, and ensuring assets are organized and delivered on time
