About The Position

The E-Coat Loader/Unloader position is responsible for various tasks related to the E-Coat line, including line setup, scanning parts, hanging uncoated parts, unloading the line, inspecting coated parts, and packaging parts as required. This role involves using a computer system for inventory management and ensuring quality adherence through visual inspection. The operator must also be able to use a motorized walking stacker and follow standard work procedures for loading and unloading the line.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills
• LO/TO awareness level training

Responsibilities

• Line set up
• Scanning parts into computer
• Hanging uncoated parts onto conveyor
• Unload the line
• Inspect coated parts
• Package parts as required (including wrapping or layering parts in cage)
• Scan quantities, piece counts and weights into the computer
• Print label and apply sticker
• Follow safety and environmental procedures
• Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled
• Understand and follow maintenance Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
• Visually inspects all coated parts to ensure quality adherence
• Ability to use motorized walking stacker
• Load & unload line as required using standard work
• Follow packaging requirements
