About The Position

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking an e-Business Specialist to support a Federal Agency's Regional Contracting Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting federal acquisition and e-Business systems utilized across Department of Defense procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD acquisition systems and providing technical assistance to contracting professionals. This role serves as a subject matter expert for procurement-related applications and will provide troubleshooting, training, and systems support to end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Four (4) years of direct federal procurement systems support experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years supporting DoD e-Business or acquisition systems.
  • Experience supporting SAM, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, and ePS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Experience developing training materials and conducting end-user training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting contracting organizations within the Department of Defense.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with government help desk or enterprise systems support organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for DoD acquisition and e-Business systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to System for Award Management (SAM), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Electronic Data Access (EDA), and Electronic Procurement System (ePS).
  • Coordinate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to resolve system issues.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and job aids.
  • Deliver desk-side and virtual training to contracting personnel.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist users with account management, system access, and technical inquiries.
  • Prepare reports and communicate system updates to stakeholders.
  • Support implementation of new acquisition technologies and enhancements.
