About The Position
COPR Industries LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner operating from Amazon Warehouse DAB5 in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The E-Bike Delivery Associate helps ensure Amazon orders are delivered safely and on time to customers in the Brooklyn community. Associates operate a provided, insured Amazon-branded pedal-assisted e-bike, work independently while contributing to a team, and interact professionally with customers and the public. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid ID within the state of employment.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Must safely operate a pedal-assisted e-bike; driving infractions will not be tolerated.
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds and get in and out of the vehicle and walk up and down stairs through the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a pedal-assisted e-bike to deliver Amazon packages to customers.
- Deliver 200 or more packages per shift, ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Use a handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.
- Load and unload packages.
- Work in varying weather conditions.
- Lift packages up to 50 pounds and get in and out of the vehicle and walk up and down stairs during the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Provide customer-focused service and help deliver packages safely and on time.
