Cargo Van Delivery Associate - COPR INDUSTRIES LLC - Pay $24.75 per Hour
About The Position
COPR Industries LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner operating from Amazon Warehouse DAB5 in Red Hook, Brooklyn, is hiring Cargo Van Delivery Associates to deliver Amazon packages safely and on time. Associates work independently for much of the day, driving throughout the delivery area and providing efficient, friendly service focused on customer satisfaction. An Amazon-branded cargo van is provided. The role involves shifts of 8–10 hours per day, available seven days a week, with a typical four-day workweek and 40 hours. The position is described as permanent, with immediate openings.
Requirements
- Have a spotless driving record with zero points on the driver’s license.
- Drive safely; driving infractions will not be tolerated.
- Be comfortable driving a cargo van and working in varying weather conditions.
- Be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to get in and out of the cargo van and walk up and down stairs throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be reliable, independent, flexible, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively and prioritize safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate a cargo van throughout delivery shifts.
- Use a handheld device to access routing and customer delivery information.
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
- Load and unload packages for delivery.
- Deliver packages to customers while meeting customer expectations and providing friendly service.
- Get in and out of the cargo van and walk up and down stairs during the shift.
