About The Position

The Boeing Company's Defense, Space & Security division is seeking E-7A Systems Engineers to join their E-7A Systems Engineering team in Tukwila, WA. This role supports the development of new capabilities for the E-7A platform, the world's most advanced Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, known for its ability to track multiple airborne and maritime targets and provide crucial situational awareness. The team is looking for engineers with multi-disciplinary skills to build a systems engineering baseline, solve problems, integrate across teams, and lead solutions. This position will work across multiple E-7A programs in a dynamic environment and is hiring for both Experienced and Lead Level Engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
3+ years of experience in system engineering, including system architecture, requirements and interface development and allocation, verification and validation.
Experience creating MBSE systems models in Cameo, Magic Systems of Systems Architect (MSOSA), or similar software.
Experience with requirements validation and verification.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Nice To Haves

Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience with military platforms.
Technical knowledge of aircraft, mission and ground systems for military platforms.
Experience with Interface Controls Documents and Functional Schematics.
Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.
Experience in interface development and documentation.
Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management.
Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military).
INCOSE Certification.

Responsibilities

Create physical, operational, logical, and functional architectures, and develop the interdependencies of these architectures.
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluate customer and/or operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
Develop the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
Develop the planning and execution of requirements-based verification.
Resolve cross-functional technical issues.
