About The Position

Dyson is seeking dynamic, passionate, and eager individuals to represent an International Technology Brand as part of their growing Expert Team. This role focuses on providing an exceptional experience for potential owners by confidently and knowledgeably consulting with customers to help them find the right product solutions. Experts will work within assigned retail territories to educate store staff, lead events, and demonstrate Dyson products. The role is in-person only and requires regular visits to multiple third-party retail locations to represent Dyson, support retailer staff, and engage directly with customers. This position emphasizes embodying Dyson's culture, utilizing their sales model, and delivering an ultimate shopper experience through consultation and product demonstration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of in-person retail selling experience
  • Experience working with technology and within the beauty industry, preferably prestige/luxury brands
  • Comfortable with leading events such as Masterclasses, and speaking to groups of people
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Ability to work retail hours (standard, peak, holiday) including a minimum of three (3) days/week including every Saturday/Sunday
  • Ability to transport demonstration equipment/supplies to and from assigned location(s) and the ability to travel within a defined territory
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work well with others and establish strong relationships within Dyson Canada Ltd as well as with our third-party retail partners
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with adaptable approach to selling
  • Ambitious and self-motivated sales individual who exhibits confidence and professionalism
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, achieving or exceeding quotas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and understands when to seek guidance
  • Comfortable with computer skills in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook as well as the ability to use an iPad and corresponding applications

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with Dyson’s culture
  • Utilize the Dyson-developed sales model to engage and excite shoppers while achieving key success factors
  • Provide the ultimate shopper experience in an engaging and well-informed professional fashion
  • Understand the shopper’s needs through discovery and consultation to identify the appropriate products to address their needs and desires
  • Demonstrate the appropriate Dyson tool in a clear and concise manner which permits the shopper to duplicate the actions successfully at home
  • Adhere to in-store demonstration and health & safety standards
  • Act as the in-store representative for all Dyson products while present in store
  • Educate Retail Sales Associate partners and shoppers on specific product features and benefits of various technologies
  • Perform operational duties such as visual merchandising, maintaining display cleanliness, replenishing stock, and other related activities
  • Successfully utilize CRM and HRIS systems to complete daily reporting in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
