As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role. Develop deep expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting complex software environments to ensure system reliability and performance. Support and guide colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices related to application support and monitoring tools. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze incidents and implement effective solutions that minimize business impact. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying patterns in system issues and proposing enhancements. Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies that enhance monitoring and support capabilities. This role requires being onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC. This role also requires 5 days away per quarter.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in Dynatrace Monitoring Integration
  • Bachelor's Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in Splunk is recommended.
  • Advanced proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, and AWS Cloud Computing is suggested.
