As a Design Verification Testing (DVT) Test Engineer I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the excellence and reliability of Spectra Logic’s cutting-edge storage platforms. Requirements

  • A natural curiosity with strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • An ability to follow structured processes while staying adaptable in a learning environment.
  • A basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
  • A proven ability to pick up complex, technical systems quickly.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute user functional test cases to validate system workflows and new feature behaviors across our advanced storage platforms.
  • Document test results and defects clearly, ensuring full traceability and open communication across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to validate fixes and regressions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Support the setup and preparation of dynamic test environments to ensure systems are ready for validation.
  • Follow and contribute to established testing processes to ensure reliable, repeatable, and high-standard validation.
  • Dive into the fundamentals of test case creation, structured documentation, and industry-standard testing methodologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex data storage concepts and modern system workflows.
  • Work hand-in-hand with experienced team members who are dedicated to mentoring you and helping you build a successful engineering career.
