About The Position

The DVP, Business Development, Fluid Analysis will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of the Fluid Analysis (FA) growth strategy across Brookfield, Spectro Scientific, and Grabner. This role is crucial for driving initiatives that achieve double-digit growth in orders, sales, and operating profit. The position requires translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and financial impact, and establishing an operating cadence to monitor progress. Key activities include identifying and prioritizing high-value growth segments, conducting market analysis, engaging with customers to understand needs, and building a robust opportunity pipeline. Additionally, the role involves partnering with sales teams to enhance key account strategies, supporting value-based selling, building relationships with strategic stakeholders, and influencing customer specifications early in their capital expenditure cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead execution of the FA growth strategy across Brookfield, Spectro Scientific and Grabner aligned to divisional strategic priorities.
  • Drive initiatives that deliver double-digit growth in orders, sales, and operating profit.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives with defined owners, timelines, and financial impact.
  • Establish operating cadence to track pipeline conversion, growth initiatives, and execution progress.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value growth segments across core FA markets (Viscosity, Rheology, Moisture, Oil Condition Monitoring, Oil & Gas, Military and Environmental).
  • Lead market sizing, segmentation, and competitive analysis to guide investment decisions.
  • Drive voice-of-customer engagement to uncover unmet needs and emerging application requirements.
  • Build and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline with visibility into timing, scope, and win strategy.
  • Partner with Regional Sales and Business Managers to strengthen key account strategies and large project pursuits.
  • Support value-based selling approaches tied to productivity, yield, and performance outcomes.
  • Establish top-to-top relationships with strategic customers, partners, and OEMs where relevant.
  • Drive early-stage engagement in customer capex cycles to influence specifications and positioning.
