About The Position
Animal Hospital of Avon is seeking 3rd or 4th year veterinary students for a paid externship. This program offers a supportive environment with strong resources, including connections to local specialists, mentorship, a modern facility, and advanced equipment. The externship focuses on providing exceptional, customized care for patients and personalized experiences for clients. The team practices high-level medicine with individualized treatment plans, multi-modal anesthesia and analgesia, tailored patient monitoring, and nursing care, integrating Fear Free strategies and following AAHA, AAFP, and AVMA guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be a 3rd or 4th Year Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator.
