About The Position
Quality Veterinary Care is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from 1st through 4th year to participate in a hands-on externship. This program is designed to enhance your education through real-world experience in a practice that blends advanced veterinary medicine with efficient, friendly service. Our experienced team provides compassionate, low-stress care, supported by in-house diagnostics and advanced surgical skills. We value collaboration, communication, and professional growth, offering a great environment for veterinary professionals to expand their expertise and make a difference in pets' lives. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostics, a surgical suite for soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, advanced dental care, and anesthesia monitoring. We utilize the latest veterinary technology to ensure efficient, high-quality treatment tailored to individual pet needs. Located on Long Island, our practice is situated in a welcoming community offering a balance of suburban living and city excitement, with access to beaches, a vibrant dining scene, shopping, parks, and proximity to New York City.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
