Requirements

DVM Student in any grade
Must be part of clinical year externship blocks or seeking informal externship experience.

Responsibilities

Client communication, including gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, and reviewing estimates.
Ownership of cases by creating treatment plans, diagnostics, and managing/performing in-house labs.
Observing, assisting, or performing surgical procedures, including dental procedures.
Overall medical management of patients.
Practicing communication skills, time management skills, fiscal responsibilities, record keeping, and relationship building with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
