About The Position
New Smyrna Beach Animal Medical Center is seeking active 3rd or 4th-year veterinary students for a paid externship. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in a progressive general, emergency, and small animal practice offering a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, urgent care, high-speed dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, acupuncture, and medical boarding. The externship is located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, a growing community with proximity to Orlando and excellent public schools, offering a healthy work-life balance with access to beaches and various outdoor activities.
Requirements
- Active Veterinary Student in 3rd or 4th year
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
- Must be an Active 3rd or 4th Year Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
