About The Position

Green Summit Animal Clinic is seeking 1st through 4th-year veterinary students for a paid externship. This program is designed to allow veterinary students to enhance their education through real-world experiences in a practice that has been serving Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities for over 20 years. The clinic's mission is to provide comprehensive healthcare, foster the highest quality of life for patients, and empower pet owners through education. They specialize in the medical care of rabbits and small mammals, with staff veterinarians experienced in exotic animal care. The clinic aims to make veterinary care approachable and reassuring, ensuring a straightforward and enjoyable experience for pet owners.

Requirements

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
