About The Position

Franklin Animal Clinic is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from 1st through 4th year to participate in a paid externship. This program is designed to provide real-world experience and enhance the education of future veterinarians. The clinic emphasizes growth, curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to exceptional medicine, supported by skilled technicians and a leadership team that values mentorship and education. Franklin Animal Clinic utilizes advanced tools for cutting-edge care, including full-body digital and dental X-ray, multiple ultrasounds, two full IDEXX laboratory suites, surgical cutting laser, CT imaging, orthopedic surgery capabilities, stem cell therapy, PRP, a dedicated wellness facility, and an onsite underwater treadmill. The externship offers a unique opportunity for future veterinary professionals to thrive, learn, and grow within a supportive environment, with potential future ownership opportunities through a Partner Track Program and access to a DVM Mentor Network.
