Kissimmee Animal Hospital is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative 1st through 4th-year veterinary students for a paid externship. This program offers students the opportunity to enhance their education through real-world experiences, with flexible scheduling and future employment opportunities. The externship provides a DVM mentor network with 1:1 mentorship and guidance. Kissimmee Animal Hospital, founded in 1974 and AAHA-Accredited, provides professional and caring veterinary services to dogs, cats, and pocket pets in Osceola County, Polk County, and the South Orlando area. The hospital is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a range of services including wellness exams, puppy and kitten care, senior care, pain management, surgery, dental and digital radiography, ultrasounds, and a fully stocked in-house pharmacy. Their pocket pet service caters to small mammals like hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The veterinarians and staff are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
