About The Position

Valhalla Animal Hospital is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from 1st through 4th year to enhance their education through real-world experiences. This externship offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a well-established veterinary clinic that has been serving southern New York for over thirty years. Our clinic provides personal, compassionate care for pets at every stage of life, focusing on building lasting relationships with pet owners through clear guidance and open communication. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities including exam rooms, a surgical suite, a treatment area, and boarding/daycare. Advanced technology includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and laser therapy. Services offered encompass wellness care, dental services, surgery, and emergency support. Valhalla offers a desirable living environment in Westchester County with access to amenities and a relaxed pace of life, while still providing an easy commute to New York City.

Requirements

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
