Experienced ONLY Dump Truck Driver - Manual Operators Only
About The Position
Loveland Excavating and Paving are searching for an EXPERIENCED Dump Truck driver. You must have 2 - 3 years’ experience driving a dump truck, hauling dirt, rock and/or asphalt. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience. This role involves driving and operating dump trucks to deliver materials such as concrete, asphalt, or miscellaneous items to various job sites. The driver will also be responsible for picking up materials, verifying load accuracy, and delivering them as instructed. Proficiency in using navigation tools and road maps is required, along with performing daily truck inspections and basic vehicle maintenance. Adherence to safe work practices, company policies, and immediate reporting of any vehicle issues to a supervisor are essential. The role also includes completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy and strictly following all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years’ experience driving a dump truck, hauling dirt, rock and/or asphalt.
- Class A and B - Manual Operators Only
- Ability to lift 80 pounds.
- Able to pass random drug tests.
- Clean driving record.
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
- Listening and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Dependability.
- CDL – Class A or Class B - Manual Transmission
- 21 years or older
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate dump trucks delivering material to job sites (concrete, asphalt, or miscellaneous materials).
- Pick up material, verify load for accuracy, and deliver as instructed.
- Must be able to utilize navigation and road maps.
- Daily inspection of trucks.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; always comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Report any issues with the vehicle to your supervisor immediately.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
- Follow all Traffic laws/ DOT regulations.
