About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a dump truck to transport aggregate materials to and from job sites, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, following designated routes and traffic laws, communicating effectively with dispatch and site teams, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance
Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and established procedures
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

Safely operate a dump truck to transport aggregate materials to and from job sites
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Follow designated routes, schedules, and traffic laws at all times
Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and site teams
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and report any issues promptly
